Young People’s JIGSAW Club and GRID
Our JIGSAW Club is held in the Abbey Church Hall on Sunday mornings at 10.30am with games, stories, singing and crafts. All children welcome.  We have a group called the GRID for young people in P6- S6 where we look more in-depth the passages in the bible and discuss how this relates to young people today.

Choir
Our choir is a small group of 18 enthusiastic people who lead the congregation in praise each Sunday morning and who meet on Thursday evenings at 7.00pm for practice under the direction of our very able organist and choir master Jim Walsingham. Our praise is mostly from CH4 and other music is chosen by Mr Walsingham according to our level of ability and experience. As with every other choir we welcome new members, hopefully young blood. With only a couple of exceptions we are a “bus pass choir” who give of our time and talents joyfully.

Guild
The Guild nationally is an important organisation of the Church of Scotland. Originally set up as an organisation for women, it has in recent times opened up its membership to men. It must be admitted that this change has not been followed up to any great extent locally. Our Guild programme runs from October to March and includes a wide range of events. Some address the Guild Theme, some address the Guild Project and others the Topic chosen for the year. The Guild Communion is always a moving experience. Other events are chosen for general interest and entertainment, the latter very often being provided by musical groups who usually come highly recommended and are never disappointing. The Guild is a highly sociable group in which a strong bond exists. New members will always be given a warm welcome. The Guild will begin its new season on the second Wednesday of October.
